MARINE TRANSPORT LOGISTICS INC is a privately owned and operated corporation, family-founded in 1993 in New York, USA. It organically grew from a single person startup out of a small one-bedroom apartment into a fully mature full-service domestic and international logistics business with headquarters in New York.
Today the Company has the staff of 30 employees, an offshore back office, 6 acres of land, loading docks equipped with 10 platforms, offices, agents, facilities and warehousing in all major U.S. ports.
The Company which, in its early years, focused solely on the booming Post-Soviet car market, unlike many others, understood the importance of business differentiation and re-invested the profits into development of truly international and differentiated business. Today MTL ships over 20,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) per year to all markets in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North America and South America.
Customer takes full responsibility and assumes all risk of loss for all vehicles stored at companies facility. Company shall not be responsible for damage to or loss of the vehicle or parts thereof due to operational procedures in place at Marine Transport Logistic/aka American Voyager NJ facility, from acts of theft or vandalism, or acts of God; Customer responsibility/option maintain insurance on the vehicle during a storage in our warehouse. Marine Transport Logistic/aka American Voyager NJ Inc shall only be responsible for damage to or loss of the vehicle or parts thereof caused by the direct willful or grossly negligent act or omission of Company, but not more then $500.00 (Five hundred US Dollars) per vehicle. Customer responsibility/option maintain cargo marine insurance for physical loss or damage to goods shipped by water or air. Marine Transport Logistic shall only be responsible for damage to or loss of the vehicle or parts loaded inside a container thereof caused by the direct willful or grossly negligent act or omission of Marine Transport Logistic, but not more then $500.00 (Five hundred US Dollars) per vehicle.
Storage: Free time storage are 30 calendar days, after - $10.00 per calendar day per unit . IN and OUT fee $100.00 will be charged per each unit+ STORAGE FROM 1ST DAY. Any oversized, overweight equipment will be rejected, unless confirmed in advance. Unloading charges may apply.
ANY AND ALL SHIPMENTS ARRIVING TO OR DEPARTING FROM THE USA ARE SUBJECT TO AND CAN BE INSPECTED BY THE U.S. CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION. U.S. CUSTOMS RANDOMLY PULLS CONTAINERS FOR INSPECTION AT THE PORT FOR SECURITY & SAFETY REASONS. THE INSPECTION CAN BE DONE EITHER AT THE TERMINAL BY X-RAY, OPEN VISUAL INSPECTION, OR BY TRANSFERRING THE CONTAINER TO A BONDED WAREHOUSE AND DOING A TOTAL DE-VANNING OF THE CONTAINER FOR INSPECTION OF CONTENTS.ALL CHARGES INCURRED FROM THE OCEAN LINE AND/OR THE BONDED WAREHOUSE AS A RESULT OF THE U.S. CUSTOMS INSPECTION IS THE TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHIPPER. IF THESE CHARGES ARE NOT PAID WITHIN THE GIVEN TIME FRAME, THEN THE SHIPPER CAN INCUR ADDITIONAL STORAGE FEES AND PENALTIES, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THEIR CARGO BEING SEIZED. COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE CHARGES RESULTING FROM U.S. CUSTOMS EXAMS BECAUSE COMPANY IS ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE SHIPPER, AND THEY DO NOT HOLD TITLE OR OWNERSHIP OF THE SHIPMENT.

It routes the most efficient and fast form of domestic inland delivery using multimodal transportation services that deliver via trucking, rail or air. International delivery is done by ocean or air. MTL takes care of all contracts, networking, loading, unloading, warehousing, cargo consolidation, Ro‐Ro, container loading and unloading including cross-loading. The Company provides all documentation including commercial invoices, shipper’s declarations, bills of landing, customs AES filings and all other documents that are required by the carriers and countries of export. MTL takes care of customs clearance abroad and delivery to the end location choosing the most effective way and providing real time information flow to the client via its in-house customer service department.
In other words, if someone needs to deliver something regardless of its size from point A to point B – all he needs to do is call MTL and well experienced team will take care of everything using its door-to-door logistics solutions.
It is always customer’s responsibility to inform MTL’s staff about any articles placed and/or loaded in the vehicles. A list of the content description, along with the value and weight of the items must be provided prior to the loading. Failure to do so will lead to an ‘undeclared cargo’ penalty, which will be added to the customer’s account.
